Planning Storyboard for music video

 Planning the music video was a very fun experience. A lot of thinking and imagination that went into the storyboard. I can tell you that I am not such an artistic person but I did what I could to explain my video. 

Shot 1: In the first shot of the movie this will be like the s=establishing shot. This is where I am shooting the video in the back of my grandparents bakehouse. I think the view there is so beautiful. 

Shot 2: In this shot this will have two people talking about a sport. Then one of the guys says to the kid that he won't go anywhere in sports and he won't be anyone. And this is where the music will begin for the video. 

Shot 3: In this shot this will a wide shot of the person singing the song which will happen in out out of a few shots. They won't actually be singing the song but I will for sure look like it. 

Shot 4: This will just be close up or an over the shoulder shot. The actor will probably be looking at the computer for exercises and workouts for the offseason so they can work and get better. 

Shot 5: This shot will be another wide shot but in a new setting this will be in front of the garage. This is where he will be working out in the offseason. You can see the emotion and the passion he has to prove people wrong. This scene he will be doing pushups. 

Shot 6: In this shot it will still be in front of the garage but he will be doing another workout. This time he will be doing sprints in front of the garage. This will probably be filmed by tracking angle. 

Shot 7: This will cut out of the workout. And they will start singing the song again.

Shot 8: This shot will be taken inside the house. This time it will still be a workout but he will being doing pull-ups. Lots of exercise and workout in the shots but thats what you need to prove people wrong. 

Shot 9: This will be right after the offseason after all the work he put in will be displayed in this first game. In this shot this will be the first inning and he is the first batter. The first pitch he sees in that at bat will be shot. 

Shot 10: This will be a continue shot of the previous shot. But what will happen here is that he hits this pitch and it is going going going and gone for a Homerun . He did it finally proved the people wrong he would be someone and go somewhere. 

Shot 11: This is where he will have a flashback. Where the guy that told him he wouldn't go anywhere he wouldn't be nobody. And he did that for him. 

Shot 12: In the last shot this is where the song will finish and they will just be singing until the song is over.

 I am Gavin Gonzalez, I am a junior at Fort Lauderdale Highschool. In this filming project I decided to work by myself for this project. I would rather depend on myself to get everything done. I can't rely on other kids to help me in this project. It's like a 50/50 chance you are taking. This person you can work with can be very controlling and take over the whole project which sucks. Or they never do anything and expect you to do it all. Or you might not be able to communicate with them. Also the people I could work with live too far for me to get there and I have no transportation. I wouldn't need anyone to work with when I have everything I need at home to do it. When working alone and not in a group you can voice your own ideas and no ne will shoot them down because you are working alone.  This project was definitely a different and new experience. There was a lot of new things I learned from this project. I learned how to add music to my video for the first time. Even though we basically had to have music in the video. It also was a much longer video that I was making and planning for which I thought was going to be harder but it really wasn't. It was like making any of the other videos I made. Just had to make sure I had a good plan and good schedule. With the storyboard it has changed because nobody had to lip sync to the song. I had enough video that if I added that it would have made the video too long. So I decided to cut that out of the video. Also the setting changes a little it wouldn't be in parents lake house I did it in the front yard and I also never had a shot in the garage. Creative Critical Reflection Music Video

 Usually in pop music videos they are just being followed by the camera and singing. They usually have backup dancers to dance in sync. They are usually showing off the money how much money they have or the fancy cars they have. I didn't follow how those usual pop music videos look. I wanted to tell a story to this song. I wanted to have a theme behind the song for people to see. I wanted the video to be different or special not a normal pop song. Always good to be a little different. This video actually does cover some issues in the real world. That was basically the theme I was going for. It represents the issue of bullying and people just being brought down in life. This is for them to push through and don't listen to what they have to say. Like before it engages with the audience due to the theme. Engages with audience due to the story it is telling.
