Planning for Music Video
The title of the song will be just the name so it will be called Don't Stop Believin by Journey. I did this just to keep it simple and ordinary so people can be able to read it and get the song they are listening to. The costumes in the shots might be multiple costumes. We will have a fit for the person that is singing the song. There will be another actor so they will be wearing like athletic clothes or maybe a sports uniform with sneakers. There might be another character that might be a bully so try and dress them up as a jock to represent a bully. The props that could be used in this music video might be a microphone that the singer is holding to make it look more realistic of them singing. There might be some sports equipment that might be seen in some of the shots. There could be gym equipment throughout the shots. Like you could see some dumbbells or medicine ball or. pull up bar. There will also be baseballs used and a baseball bat and a baseball glove. I really do like to use lots of baseball equipment but its the only equipment I have.
Schedule:
1. On 11/13 I will decide which song I will make a video on that is clean and appropriate for school. Might be a lot of songs that I will be looking through,
2. On 11/16 I will be constructing my research on the music video. How they record pop songs and what angles they use as along the audio in the songs. Also how some of these pop songs are taken and what happens in those videos.
3. On 11/17 I will be planning my project and what will happen. I will be creating the costumes, the props and even a backup plan. While also making a schedule to make sure I can do everything on time.
4. On 11/20 I will be creating my storyboard for the film. This will show what will be going in the project and how every shot will look. It will give me a visual on how I would like my project to look.
5. Between 11/20 and 11/30 I will be filming the project. Making sure I get many takes to get the best one of each shot. Also to make sure there is enough film to make up a minute of the video.
6. Between 12/1 and 12/7 I will editing all that film. Making sure I don't need to retake any of the shots and make sure it looks how I would like it be and how I imagined in my head.
7. On 12/8 my whole video will be done and uploaded for people to see.
The location that will be taking place will be at my grandparents bakehouse. Most of the shots will be taken by the lake.
The backup plan for this project because the weather might not cooperate with us. That the setting might just change to being inside the house or garage. We might not have all those props in the shots or even all the characters I was planning. But I hope all of this will cooperate and no backup plan will be necessary.
